This weekend the first B78 Powered Program marathon team took part in the BMO Vancouver marathon. It was a great day for all of those who took part and we are happy to say that everyone who started made it across the finish line. Tony Zarsadias of Victoria BC ran 3:23 in his first marathon attempt. Not bad for a an ex pro cyclist with sprinters quads. Chris Neufeld of Vancouver went into the race nursing some knee issues but courageously got himself across the line and showed real guts to do so. Arthur Vasquez of Vancouver quietly and methodically got himself through the 18 week program and finished in just over four hours.
All of the athletes were taking part in their first marathon, which can be a daunting task but all of them stepped up and got across the line!
