Penticton Training Camp

July 29-31, 2022


Join us in Penticton for an awesome long weekend of training on the Ironman Canada course. This camp will happen four weeks out of Ironman Canada- perfect timing for your final preparations leading into one of the most historic Ironman events on the calendar. Athletes will experience fully supported training sessions on the course and learn priceless intel from top coaches and Ironman Canada champion Jasper Blake.

The camp will consist of three days of training starting Friday July 29th and will conclude mid day on Sunday July 31st allowing participants to travel home in time for the new week. The camp itinerary can be found below (subject to change based on weather and/or other conditions). The camp will also include one of the most valuable pre-race seminars you can attend. The seminar will cover course overviews and pacing and nutrition strategies that will help you succeed on race day.

If you are not doing Ironman but are looking for an epic training weekend with great people and incredible coaching, this camp is also for you!

Camp Cost: $750

*Finding a larger group booking in one location proved challenging this year so the coaches home base will be an Air BnB that is very central. We encourage athletes to find accommodations that suit their needs and tastes in the Penticton area. If you need some suggestions please let us know:)

*Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation as well as ensuring refunds are available for any travel and accommodation in the event the camp needs to be cancelled due to COVID restrictions or the possibility of forest fire issues. Camp participants do not have to stay at the host hotel but many of the workouts will start and finish at that location.

Vertical Camp Cyclists

Vertical Camp– Thousand Oaks California

January 14-17, 2022

Join us in Thousand Oaks California for one of our most popular training camps. Due to high demand we are limiting this camp to 30 athletes total split between B78 Coaching and Human Powered Racing which means we have 15 spots total so don’t delay signing up. This camp includes four incredible days of biking (with some swimming and running thrown in for good measure) just outside of Los Angeles. (Note- ride days are January 14,15,16 and 17- we travel in on the 13th and home on the 18th). You will experience some of the most incredible riding on the west coast. Be ready for tons of vertical, quiet winding canyon roads and awesome people! This camp is run in coordination with Human Powered Racing.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, camp participation will be limited and in line with all public health recommendations at the time. Rigorous steps will be taken to ensure the safety of all participants during the camp and will follow the provincial health guidelines in place at the time the camp takes place. This includes the possibility of cancellation if travel is restricted at the time. If this happens, full refunds will be issued.

Penticton Training Camp 1

June 24-28, 2021

Join us in Penticton BC for our first of two Ironman training camps. In anticipation of Ironman Canada at the end of August 2021 athletes will have a chance to swim, bike and run at one of the sports oldest and most iconic race venues. This camp will be run in cooperation with Human Powered Racing.

The camp will consist of four incredible days swimming, biking and running in and around Penticton BC. You can find a link to the camp itinerary (subject to change) below. During the camp athletes will experience and train on the Ironman Canada course and receive instruction from head coach of B78 Coaching Jasper Blake and head coach of Human Powered Racing Mike Neill. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from two of the most experienced athletes and coaches in the Canadian Ironman space.
