B78 Trail Running Camp- October 2020


This trail running camp is geared towards the beginner/intermediate trail running enthusiast. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to incorporate trail running into your training or just looking for an awesome weekend experience this is your chance. Join us for two awesome days running the trails on Southern Vancouver Island and working out with Third Space.

This camp will be geared to the beginner/intermediate level trail runner. If you’ve ever wanted to incorporate some off road experiences into your training but are a bit tentative to actually get out into the woods this is a great opportunity for you to learn.
The camp will include two awesome days in the woods on some amazing running routes here on Southern Vancouver Island. We will be covering trail running safety, equipment necessities and plenty of technical know-how so that hitting the trails will be less intimidating and more fun! The runs will take place rain or shine (because really, that’s what trail running is all about:)
We are excited to be partnering with the amazing folks at Third Space Movement here in Victoria to offer a strength and mobility session as well as a yoga recovery session as part of the camp itinerary. We are equally as excited to be partnering with Frontrunners Footwear for their trail running equipment expertise. This will take place via Zoom prior to the camp so you can learn about all of the unique equipment available for off road adventures and make any necessary purchases so you are prepared for the weekend.
We are capping the number at this camp to 10 lucky people and offering it exclusively to our current roster of athletes for the first week, at which point we will open up registration if we are not full. The cost is $149 and will include the following:
  • Two guided trail runs ranging in length from 10-15km (roughly 90-180min) each. We will have two groups- one for true beginners that will hike/walk/run and the other for intermediate that will aim to primarily run. Both groups will adhere to a NO DROP policy- the goal is to have fun and learn!
  • Two private group training sessions at Third Space Movement. Both will be led by one of their amazing team members. One session will focus on strength and mobility as it pertains to trail running. The second will focus on yoga as a form of recovery from running.
  • Equipment seminar led by the fine folks at Frontrunners Footwear- will take place on zoom prior to the camp
