Claire Gemmell Shines at the Cambridge Beaches Triathlon

A huge congratulations to Claire Gemmell, who delivered an incredible performance at the Cambridge Beaches Triathlon in Bermuda, finishing 2nd in her age group! This result is a testament to Claire’s consistency, grit, and belief in the process.

The race started with a challenging swim, as the course was both shallow and congested. Claire stayed composed, navigated through the crowd, and positioned herself well heading into the bike. Once on two wheels, she found her rhythm and executed a strong ride, setting up perfectly for the run.

Claire has been diligently sharpening her run speed in training and it proved to be her strength. With consistent faster-run work paying dividends, she settled into a confident pace and moved through the field. The day wrapped up in dramatic fashion with a sprint finish, where Claire emptied the tank and secured a podium spot.

This performance underscores Claire’s hard work and commitment. Congrats Claire, huge effort, and a very well-deserved result! Onward and upward from here.
