Ben Wright’s Epic Gravel Adventure 🚴‍♂️🍻

B78 athlete Ben Wright recently wrapped up an unforgettable four-day gravel bike adventure through Vermont with four of his riding buddies from Bermuda. The crew covered 350 km with over 5,000 m of climbing, carrying all their own gear (but wisely staying in hotels overnight).

Along the way, they made the most of Vermont’s charm including brewery stops, great local food, and a quick visit to the original Ben & Jerry’s factory near Stowe.

The biggest test came on Lincoln Gap, the steepest paved road in the U.S. which is a brutal climb with sections topping 20%. Ben admits he had to push the final mile, heart rate maxed out and legs screaming, but it made the summit all the sweeter.

It was an adventure full of laughs, grit, and great memories and plans are already underway for the next one. Arkansas 2026!
